Description

We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to work on a contract basis in Redmond, Washington. This part-time role requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in payroll processes and systems. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring payroll operations run smoothly and in compliance with regulations while contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll transactions accurately using established payroll systems.

• Review employee timesheets, wage calculations, and payroll entries to ensure precision.

• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Prepare and organize payroll records and generate detailed reports.

• Address employee payroll inquiries promptly and professionally to resolve concerns.

• Assist in filing payroll taxes, handling year-end processes, and reconciling accounts.

• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to provide payroll-related data and insights.

Requirements • Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll operations.

• Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and practices.

• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll platforms.

• Ability to process payroll for large employee groups exceeding 500 staff.

• Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and compliance standards.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Effective communication skills to address payroll inquiries and issues.
