Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Lodi, California. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a wholesale distribution company. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and distribute customer invoices promptly and accurately.

• Record and apply payments to customer accounts while ensuring proper documentation.

• Reconcile account balances and address any discrepancies or disputes.

• Monitor aging reports to identify overdue accounts and initiate follow-up actions.

• Maintain detailed and organized accounts receivable records in compliance with company policies.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and improve processes.

• Provide support for audits and ensure adherence to financial controls.

• Assist with cash applications and collections to optimize cash flow.

• Prepare periodic reports on accounts receivable status and performance.

• Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline receivables management. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.

• Familiarity with fundamental accounting principles and practices.

• Proven ability to manage detailed records with a high degree of accuracy.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet tools.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent communication skills for resolving account-related issues.

• Ability to analyze aging reports and prioritize collection efforts.

• Experience with commercial collections and cash applications.
