    Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in San Jose, California. This role involves managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping to support the organization's billing and collections processes. The ideal candidate will bring attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain positive client relationships.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process and record accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

    • Manage commercial collections to ensure timely payments from clients.

    • Apply cash receipts to appropriate accounts, maintaining clarity in financial records.

    • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with clients to resolve payment issues.

    • Collaborate with the billing team to ensure invoices are generated and distributed correctly.

    • Utilize NetSuite software to track and manage financial data.

    • Prepare reports detailing accounts receivable activity and performance metrics.

    • Communicate with customers to address and resolve billing discrepancies.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all financial activities.

    • Support the team with additional administrative tasks as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.

    • Proficiency in managing commercial collections and cash applications.

    • Familiarity with NetSuite or similar financial management software.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.

    • Ability to analyze financial data and generate clear, actionable reports.

    • Knowledge of billing functions and payment processing.

    • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in financial records.
