As a Neurodiagnostic Tech I, you will care for patients diagnosed with a brain or nerve condition, seeking the most advanced care from top specialists in the field. Summary of Essential Duties:

+ Perform routine assigned neurodiagnostic studies in the inpatient and outpatient settings as requested

+ Studies include EEG, LTM, Routine and Ambulatory

+ Assists with department projects including but not limited to research, database maintenance, and quality improvement

+ The technologist may be asked to head projects, taking a lead role in the maintenance and completion of neurophysiology task that aid the lab and/or the scientific community

+ Prepare rooms before and after studies and/or procedures

+ Explains details of procedure to patients, in accordance with standards of practice as defined by Cedars-Sinai and applicable certifying or regulatory standards

Qualifications

Education:

+ Associate's Degree/College Diploma in an Accredited Neurodiagnostics Program required

+ Bachelor's Degree in a biological science preferred

License/Certifications:

+ R.EEGT by ABRET preferred

+ BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

+ CLTM from ABRET preferred

Experience:

+ A minimum of 3 years of experience in Neurodiagnostics preferred

+ Applicants with more than 3 years of experience may be considered as a Tech II

+ Experience with Pediatric patients is preferred
