Our client - a leading medical device company - is seeking a Reimbursement Analyst to join their team on a contract basis.
**Type:** Contract (3-6 months only)
**Location** : Fairfield County, CT (100% ONSITE)
**Rate:** $38 - $45/hr
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage client and patient collections, including past-due follow-up and coordination with outside collection agencies
+ Conduct patient outreach via phone and email regarding billing matters
+ Partner with clinics and internal teams to resolve outstanding client-billed accounts
+ Provide responsive customer support for patient and client billing inquiries
+ Post and reconcile payments, denials, and correspondence from all payment sources
+ Monitor accounts receivable, resolve claim denials, and follow up on unpaid or rejected claims
+ Research insurance eligibility issues, payer trends, and refund requests; prepare documentation for processing
Qualifications
+ Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience
+ Experience in healthcare revenue cycle or medical billing operations
+ Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, EOBs, CMS-1500, and insurance billing practices
+ Strong understanding of in-network vs. out-of-network claims and payer requirements
+ Familiarity with patient financial responsibility (copays, deductibles, coinsurance)
+ Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
+ Proficient in MS Word with strong Excel skills
+ Ability to work collaboratively, follow direction, and maintain confidentiality (HIPAA, SOX)
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
