Job Description

_We are look for a Procurement Specialist to join our team and help manage our organization’s procurement needs._

_Procurement Specialist responsibilities include researching new suppliers, ensuring that all purchased products and materials meet our specifications, and negotiating with vendors as needed. Ultimately, you will work with leaders in our organization to understand the needs of our organization and ensure we achieve our supply goals in a timely manner._

Job Responsibilities

+ _Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions_

+ _Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements_

+ _Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns_

+ _Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings_

+ _Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies_

+ _Provide visible, high-energy service. Demonstrate a positive attitude, excellent guest service skills and be a team player._

+ _Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies and energy_

+ _Other duties as assigned_

Qualifications

+ _Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or a similar field preferred._

+ _Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role_

+ _Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies_

+ _Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills_

+ _Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems_

+ _Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills_

+ _Must be computer literate; proficiency with Power Point._

+ _Must be highly organized and have great attention to detail._

+ _Experience with SAP and/or Ariba desirable._

+ _Experience in meeting facilitation desirable._
