Job Title: Power Generation Technician

Type: Direct

Compensation: $37 hourly (+/-)

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 12+ hour work shift that will include days or nights, weekends, and holidays

Security Clearance: Background Clearance will be required by customer

Position Summary:

System One is seeking a Power Generation Technician to focusing on the installation, repair, maintenance, and diagnostic tasks related supply temporary power to fracking site.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems using CAT ET and related software.

+ Interpret wiring schematics and technical manuals to service control hardware and instrumentation.

+ Document all work in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

+ Ensure compliance with HSE standards, including PPE use and safe driving practices.

+ Maintain company property and equipment in optimal condition.

+ Collaborate with operators and technicians to minimize downtime and prioritize workload.

+ Prioritizes workload effectively to avoid equipment failure and avoid unplanned downtime

+ Must be safety conscious and willing to use stop work authority when necessary

+ Perform general housekeeping and routine maintenance of Company property, including but not limited to service vehicle and trailer.

Qualifications:

+ Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

+ Preferred experience with CAT G3520 engines and Solar SMT60 turbines.

+ Proficiency in CAT ET and diagnostic tools.

+ Strong understanding of natural gas engines, turbines, control systems, and network protocols.

+ Valid driver’s license with clean record.

+ Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; ability to learn new software quickly.

+ Physically able to work in varied conditions and operate vehicles safely.
