Summary You will serve as a PRODUCTION SHIP SUPERINTENDENT in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will manage review of work to ensure all jobs are completed prior to overhaul key events. You will prepare directives that provide guidance for the successful accomplishment of the production mission of the assigned ship. You will direct daily production work through subordinate supervisors by delegating non-nuclear overhaul tasks. You will serve as final approval authority for ship's work execution schedules. You will monitor job order costs to ensure proper charging and resolve problem areas. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
