    Job Summary

    Seeking a CT licensed plumber (P2) with 3-5 years of experience for our South Windsor, CT Mechanical Group. This opportunity requires a self-motivated individual with commercial plumbing, heating, and gas piping experience. Individuals with HVAC piping background are encouraged to apply. An additional pressure boiler pipefitting license is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent communication and written skills preferred. Some overtime required.

     

    3 weeks' PTO, 8 paid holidays, 401k with match, health, dental and vision insurance, as well as life and disability coverage.

    Physical Demands

     

    While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, smell and lift, set-up and climb ladders as well as stairways. The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move various weight ranges such as: 0-50 lbs frequently, 51-100 lbs occasionally and 101 plus seldom. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

     

    Work Environment

     

    While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock, vibration and may potentially be exposed to explosives and risk of radiation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
