Overview
We are seeking 2 dedicated Special Education Teachers to join its team and support students through high-quality instructional services and collaborative intervention planning. Under the guidance of the Special Education Program Administrator, these educators will play a vital role in delivering individualized instruction, providing tutorial assistance, and partnering with general education staff to ensure student success. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who value teamwork, student-centered support, and meaningful impact in diverse learning environments.

Role Highlights
• Provide specialized instruction based on student needs and IEP goals
• Participate in collaborative planning with multidisciplinary teams
• Offer consultation and support to general education teachers
• Work closely with paraprofessionals who provide classroom support
• Serve as an advocate for student growth, academic achievement, and independence
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by district and state regulations
• Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred)
• Preferred certifications:
• Standard Elementary Teaching
• Standard Secondary Teaching
• Standard Special Teaching
• LBS1 endorsement required
• Compliance with professional standards of practice
• Current CPR certification if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if applicable
• Current health certificate if required by state or contract
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
Schedules
• Junior High Position: 7:40 a.m. – 2:40 p.m.
• Elementary Position: 8:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
