    Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Fairhaven, MA and is seeking a Paraprofessional for the 2025–2026 school year.

     

    Start Date: 2 weeks from offer

     

    Duration: April Break (high likelihood of extension)

     

    Schedule: Mon–Fri | 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

     

    Pay Rate: Up to $23/hour

     

    Paraprofessional role in a sub-separate learning center classroom.

    The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + High School diploma or equivalent required

    + Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
