This role extends beyond just identifying defects and will be vital in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies, automation frameworks, and test cases. Senior SDET Qualifications: * 5+ years progressive experience in software development and testing, with a **significant** focus on test automation framework design and implementation. * Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.) * Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, functional, non-functional, regression, integration, system, acceptance). * Significant experience with industry-standard test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG). * Adept in at least one object-oriented programming and scripting language used for test automation (e.g., Python, Java, C#). * Proficient using CI/CD tools and test management tools and processes (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). * Experience using AI tools to perform automated test planning, development, execution, analysis and reporting. * Proven experience in mentoring and training junior team members. * Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
