    What You’ll Do:

    + Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment

    + Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum with your teaching team

    + Observe and support children’s interests and developmental milestones

    + Communicate effectively with families about their child’s progress

    + Promote positive social behaviors and model respectful interactions

    + Plan a balanced daily schedule with a mix of indoor/outdoor and active/quiet activities

    Job Description

    What You’ll Need:

    + Meet state requirements for preschool teachers

    + Required: EEC Certification in infant, toddler and preschool programs

    + Successful c ompletion of the 3.0 credit hour Child Growth and Development course

    + Preferred: CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field

    + Prior experience as a preschool lead teacher

    + Strong classroom management skills

    + Experience working with children ranging in age from 2 months - 4 years old

    + Preferred: Fluent in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with families, staff, and community members.

    + Flexibility to work within business hours

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Must be 18 or older
