This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit – where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.

What you´ll do
+ Serve as the regional design engineer for composite repair systems, overseeing all design, analysis, and project-specific engineering.
+ Supports emergency customer requests as part of a group with typical turn-around within 2-4 hours.
+ Support sales and marketing teams through technical guidance, proposal development, and client interface.
+ Provide technical training and educational support to customers, partners, and internal staff throughout North and South America.
+ Represent the company in technical discussions with clients, regulators, and industry groups across the region.
+ Ensure compliance with applicable international standards (e.g., ASME PCC-2, ISO 24817) and internal QA/QC processes.
+ Collaborate with global engineering and R&D teams to communicate regional needs and support new product development.
+ Develop and localize technical content including white papers, marketing materials, and training documentation
+ Mentor and provide technical oversight to local engineering & sales as needed.
What makes you a good fit
+ Bachelor’s or master's degree in engineering required.
+ Good working skills with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, VBA is a plus).
+ Heavy familiarity with composite systems and / or pipe systems - knowledge in both is ideal.
+ Must be able to communicate effectively on a technical level to other industry engineers and field personnel.
+ Advanced Excel skills for engineering calculations and design tools.
+ Ability to analyze and translate customer data into design package inputs.
+ Skilled in understanding technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for complex defects.
+ Effective collaboration with sales, operations, and customers.
+ Must be willing and able to travel locally within driving distance of Houston.

The salary for this role is $70,000.00- $95,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
