    Position Overview

    **Position Title:** Sr. Analyst, Finance

    **Location:** Atlanta, GA

    **Reports to:** Sr. Manager, Finance

     

    The **Sr.** **_Finance Analyst_** reports to a Sr.Manager, Category Commercial Finance and will partner with Sales, Marketing Development and Planning, and Customer Commercial Finance teams to help drive profitable growth for the business. This role will analyze and review line review and promo P&Ls and give input to the Sr. Manager on approval. While also influencing customer level programming forecasts and supporting FP&A with monthly customer commentary.

    Specific Responsibilities

    + Reviews, Analyzes and actualizes all line review and promotion P&Ls, giving input on approval to the Sr. Manager.

    + Reviews planned customer ITN rates versus checkbook with Customer Commercial Finance.

    + Provides detail to FP&A for accurate forecasting of Sales, Trade Funding, Mix, Customer A&P, Trade A/R, and customer accruals, ensuring seamless integration into segment and corporate financial processes.

    + Provides insightful commentary on monthly forecast variances, delivering high-quality analysis for Brand x Channel intersections in close collaboration with Customer Commercial Finance.

    + Owns monthly close Volume-Price Mix Model.

    + Provides promotion reporting to Brand Finance/MD&P out of NTN system.

    + Evaluates price/mix drivers to uncover opportunities for category enhancement and strategic growth.

    + Ensures compliance with all internal and external requirements, consistently meeting key deliverables.

    + Takes proactive ownership of assigned issues, identifying root causes and driving effective resolutions.

    + Generates ad-hoc reports, providing timely and relevant insights to support decision-making.

    Key Qualifications:

    + Strong analytical skills

    + Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

    + 3 - 5 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG)

    + Proficiency in MS Office applications (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), computer literate

    + Experience with SAP and Oracle/Hyperion planning systems strongly preferred

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills

    + Self-motivated in achieving goals and completing routine tasks

    + Ability to work as part of a team and interface with others across all levels of the organization
