    Artist-In-Residence - Summer Internship

     

    10-Week Live-In Summer Residency | Ocean City25 hours per week of resident engagement Room and board provided, plus stipend

     

    United Methodist Communities (UMC) is currently seeking an Artist-in-Residence (AiR) - Summer Internship for The Shores, our senior care community located in Ocean City, NJ, in picturesque Cape May County.

     

    The Artist-in-Residence will create and facilitate arts enrichment opportunities for UMC residents throughout the summer months. In exchange, the AiR will receive room and board on our beautiful campus, a $4,000 stipend, professional development opportunities, and hands-on experience with intergenerational arts programming alongside many talented and established UMC residents.

     

    What's Included

     

    + Fully furnished private suite for the duration of the residency

    + Lunch and dinner provided daily at no cost

    + Opportunity to create and implement a Summer Arts Enrichment Program for residents

    Requirements

    + Major or minor in the arts (visual arts, drama, music, or related creative field) preferred
