    **Pay Rate:** $42.00-$47.00/hr.

    **Shift:** 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)

    **Location:** Everett, WA

     

    Regular and predictable attendance is required.

    Position Overview

    PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced **Employee Development Specialist 4** to support training, curriculum development, and performance improvement initiatives in Everett, WA. The ideal candidate will serve as a lead instructor in specialized technical areas, provide coaching to enhance workforce capability, and help design effective learning solutions aligned with business needs.

     

    This position requires strong instructional experience, proficiency in technical manufacturing environments, and the ability to drive meaningful learning outcomes.

    Physical Requirements

    + Standing and walking for extended periods

    + Lifting up to 10 lbs

    Responsibilities

    + Define project scope and recommend deliverables, budget, and resource requirements

    + Lead curriculum development and review content, instructional materials, testing, and system access requirements

    + Identify learning objectives and adapt delivery methods to meet business-specific needs

    + Perform as lead instructor in specialized technical areas such as Electrical, Structural, Quality, Systems, and other aerospace-related skill sets

    + Conduct learning needs analyses and establish measurable training objectives

    + Deliver training content and evaluate effectiveness

    + Provide individual and group coaching to improve performance

    + Facilitate learning events using diverse delivery techniques; ensure preparation, delivery, and rostering for all training activities

    + Customize course material, guides, and presentations to support learning goals

    + Emphasize safety requirements and ensure safety protocols are integrated into all training

    + Maintain a productive learning environment and manage any classroom behavior issues promptly

    + Perform assessments and recommend process and performance improvements

    + Conduct Train‑the‑Trainer sessions to qualify new instructors

    + Ensure all instructional materials and delivery methods comply with regulatory, organizational, and customer standards

    Required Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support

    + Experience coaching, instructing, or serving as an employee development specialist

    + Experience designing and delivering leadership or professional development curriculum

    + Ability to follow detailed work instructions and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Aerospace Manufacturing or Lean Certifications

    + Experience in areas such as Structural, Electrical, Repair, Functional Test, Seal, Systems, etc.

    + Hands‑on mechanic experience (structural, mechanical, electrical, or related systems)

    + Experience in Electrician/Structure/Wing/Spar Assembly, Needs Assessment, or Job Analysis

    Education / Experience

    + Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of relevant experience,OR Master's degree plus 8+ years of experience,OR 14+ years of related equivalent experience.
