    **Pay Rate:** $43.00 - $50.00 per hour

    **Shifts:** Must be available to work **both 1st and 2nd shifts** , available for **overtime** , and willing to assist with the **787 Storage Program** as needed.

     

    Overview

     

    PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced **Flight Readiness Technician C (A&P)** to support **787/777 aircraft modification programs** in Victorville, CA. This role is ideal for aviation technicians with strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and flight deck operation skills who thrive in a dynamic modification environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform **Service Bulletin installations** and complete **functional checks** on aircraft mechanical systems.

    + Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair aircraft systems as required by the client/customer.

    + Support software loading and system diagnostics.

    + Ensure all work is completed in accordance with regulatory and safety requirements.

    + Maintain a **clean, organized, and FOD‑free** workspace.

    + Work 100% onsite performing aircraft maintenance, including outdoor work (≈30%).

    + Operate lifts such as **scissor lifts** and **boom lifts** .

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    + **A&P Mechanic** (Certification preferred but not required)

    + **5+ years** aircraft maintenance experience

    + Strong working knowledge of client aircraft systems

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Ability to lift 35 lbs., stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces

    + Willingness to work **OT (up to 20 hours)** and weekends

    + Comfortable with **Teams interviews (video required)**

    Education / Experience

    + Typically acquired through:

    + High School diploma/GED **and** 5+ years of relevant experience, **or**

    + Equivalent combination such as a Vocational/Associate degree + 2 years, or a Bachelor's degree.

    Preferred Skills

    + **A&P Certification** (preferred but not required)

    + Experience in **Avionics, Structures, and Interiors**
