As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, HOAs, airports, detention centers, etc.

+ Set schedule: Day shift: 0700 to 1500: Thursday to Monday.

Responsibilities of Tactical Security Guard

+ Excellent customer service is always your top priority.

+ Assist the officers with visitor management and access control, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the property.

+ You will be involved in patrolling the property by car, bike, and by foot all day in a safe manner.

+ You are physically able to do patrols by bike and car, during your shift, despite all-weather conditions.

+ You greet residents and their guests with a friendly demeanor verifying their identity and ensuring proper access to the community.

+ You respond to calls as needed.

+ You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.

+ You assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures to enhance community safety.

+ You supervise and coordinate the activities of security officers on shift, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures.

+ You regularly inspect and maintain all security equipment and the patrol vehicles, and bikes to ensure they are operating correctly.

+ You excel in reading and writing detailed reports.

+ You report any discrepancies to the account manager.

+ You provide rapid response in critical situations, providing assistance and coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.

+ You document and report any unusual activities or incidents to site management and the appropriate authorities and communicate with the Homeowners Association regarding emergencies or safety concerns.

+ You keep accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and visitor information to ensure a clear record of events for security purposes.

+ You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

+ You have at least a copy of HS/GED diploma or transcripts in hand.

+ You can obtain Bike Certification equal to what the LVPD does!

+ You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process.

+ You have 1 year of Supervisor experience as a Sift Lead or higher, in a fast-paced setting.

+ You have excellent coaching abilities that will allow you to grow the force and strengthen their reputation in a positive manner.

+ You have a "Do what it takes" attitude and have a history of success.

+ You have a valid PILB in hand.

+ You have a DL and clean driving record.

+ You are able to patrol by bike mostly, by car, and your feet, despite the weather conditions throughout your shift.

+ You must be over 21 years old.

+ You are a U.S. Citizen or Naturalized.
