The Role
We're looking for an early to mid-career outbound hunter to join our Commercial New Business sales team. You'll focus on acquiring net-new customers through proactive prospecting, building pipeline from scratch, and closing deals that introduce Quickbase to mid-market companies (typically 100–2,000 employees).
This is a full-cycle sales role: you'll source your own leads, run discovery calls, demo the platform, handle objections, negotiate, and close. You'll collaborate closely with Sales Development Reps (SDRs), Solution Engineers, and Customer Success to deliver wins.
What You'll Do
+ Proactively prospect into target accounts using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach, and cold calling/emailing to generate new opportunities.
+ Qualify inbound leads and convert them into pipeline while owning your outbound motion (aim for 50+ activities/day).
+ Conduct consultative discovery to uncover business pain points and position Quickbase as the solution.
+ Deliver compelling demos and proofs-of-concept that show real ROI.
+ Build and maintain a healthy pipeline to consistently hit monthly/quarterly quotas.
+ Negotiate contracts, overcome objections, and close new business.
+ Accurately forecast in Salesforce and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
+ Stay sharp on industry trends and competitive landscape to win deals.
Who You Are
+ 2–5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in full-cycle or outbound roles (new business/hunting preferred; expand or farmer backgrounds considered if you have strong prospecting chops).
+ Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota (President's Club or similar a plus).
+ Early to mid-career seller who's hungry, coachable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
+ Comfortable with cold outreach and not afraid of rejection — you love the thrill of the hunt.
+ Strong discovery and demo skills; ability to simplify complex problems and articulate value.
+ Experience with Salesforce, Gong, Outreach/Sequencing tools, and modern sales tech.
+ Excellent communication — you can build rapport with everyone from end-users to executives.
+ Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
+ Bonus: Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms, operational software, or selling into operations/IT/project management buyers.

At Quickbase, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to equitable pay practices. The range for this role is $120,000-$160,000. The range shown reflects the total expected On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role, which includes both base salary and target commission. The commission potential is equal to the base salary. OTE applies specifically to sales positions and represents the amount an employee can expect to earn when performance goals are met. The exact compensation offered will be based on experience, skills, and alignment with internal equity. Beyond salary, employees receive access to a full benefits package including health insurance, retirement, paid time off, etc.
