• Vibration Lab Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Vibration Lab Technician to support vibration testing and analysis of aerospace and defense components and systems. This role requires hands‑on experience with vibration testing equipment, data acquisition, and test analysis, with a strong emphasis on LabVIEW.

    Key Responsibilities

    - Set up, operate, and maintain vibration testing equipment and related systems.

     

    - Conduct vibration tests on components and assemblies in accordance with established test plans and procedures.

     

    - Use LabVIEW for data acquisition, control, and automation of test processes.

     

    - Analyze test data, identify anomalies, and accurately document results.

     

    - Collaborate with engineers to interpret data and support troubleshooting activities.

     

    - Maintain detailed records of test procedures, results, equipment status, and calibrations.

     

    - Ensure adherence to safety standards, laboratory protocols, and applicable testing requirements.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Experience working with jet engines or gas‑turbine propulsion (program dependent).

     

    - Direct experience supporting suppliers such as PacSci EMC, EBAD, Tech Ord, Circor, Systima Technologies

     

    - Hands‑on test experience with propulsion or pressure systems.

     

    - Knowledge of aerospace standards related to ordnance, pneumatics, or energetics. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related engineering discipline.

    -2–8 years of hands‑on engineering experience in one or more of the following:

    -Solid rocket motors or energetic materials

     

    -Pneumatic or high‑pressure gas systems

     

    -Liquid propulsion feed systems

     

    -Ordnance / explosive devices

     

    -Gas‑generator systems or small rocket propulsion

     

    -Experience with engineering analysis tools (MATLAB, ANSYS, Python, CEA, or similar).
