Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Control Specialist to join our team. The APM will work directly with a group of Project Managers helping track materials and reporting on schedules. They will work with engineering to resolve materials issues, and operations to discuss schedule risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pull data from SAP to track project costs.
• Update and maintain cost analysis sheets.
• Ensure all costs are captured accurately and realistically.
• Submit cost reports to corporate for review.
• Update project change notices and forecasting sheets.
• Enter accruals for project costs and ensure accurate cost tracking.
• Perform detailed data analysis using Excel.
• Generate and update tracking sheets to monitor project progress.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Attend regular team meetings to discuss project status and financial updates.

Skills and Requirements
• 1-3 years of experience in project management, project coordinator, or project control specialist role
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week
• Proficiency in excel
• Proficiency in schedule management tools and practices.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP
• Experience working within oil and gas, construction, energy or utilities
• Experience managing multiple projects at once
