AI Software Engineer

Job Description

Reporting into Director, Business Operations and Productivity as part of our North America Data Office and Operations team you will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered automation solutions that enhance operational productivity, improve onboarding and customer service processes, and improve time to value and quality for clients. You will collaborate cross-functionally with functional operations teams, sales teams, and wider business stakeholders to build intelligent agents and tools that act as digital teammates—automating repetitive tasks, improving decision-making and connecting highly dependent workflows, and allowing more personalized and responsive client engagement.

Skills and Requirements

What you'll do:

• Collaborate cross-functionally with process improvement, automation, sales and operations teams to identify and implement AI automation opportunities.

• Design, prototype and develop AI agents and AI-enabled workflows that augment business processes and improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience using technologies such as ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or other LLM stacks.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and end-to-end architectures to automate workflows including client onboarding and solution configuration and delivery, know your customer (KYC) verification, and client technical and solution support.

• Integrate AI models and agentic workflows into enterprise systems (e.g., SharePoint, Salesforce, Jira, ServiceNow) through APIs or custom connectors.

• Monitor and evaluate AI solution performance using observability tools and metrics (e.g., response accuracy, latency, hallucination rate, adoption, and business impact) to ensure alignment with KPIs and business goals.

• Ensure responsible AI use by following governance guidelines and best practices around data handling, security, and model transparency.

• Create and maintain documentation to support maintenance and scale of developed AI solutions across the operations organization.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with SQL and JavaScript.

• Hands-on experience working with large language models (LLMs) and AI development platforms such as OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI, or Google Vertex AI, including prompt engineering, model integration, and configuration or fine-tuning as appropriate, and familiarity with orchestration frameworks like LangChain or CrewAI.

• Proven experience integrating and deploying AI models and autonomous or agentic AI workflows in production environments, including API integration, orchestration, and performance monitoring.

• Experience building scalable, resilient, and observable distributed systems and creating clear technical documentation for cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.

• Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.

• A portfolio of past AI projects demonstrating practical deployment of intelligent or agentic workflow solutions
