    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a system administrator to support a large government customer. Responsibilities · Server Administration:

     

    Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022), including Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), and DNS services.

     

    • Virtualization Management: Manage the VMWare vSphere infrastructure, including vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, and virtual machine lifecycle.

    • Security & Hardening: Implement and maintain system security by applying DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and performing regular vulnerability assessments and remediation using tools like ACAS/Nessus.

    • Patch Management: Oversee server patching and updates using WSUS or other enterprise patch management solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure system integrity.

    • Automation: Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate routine administrative tasks, system deployments, and security configurations.

    • Monitoring & Performance: Monitor server and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high levels of availability and reliability.

    • Collaboration: Work with cybersecurity and network teams to ensure the server infrastructure is secure, compliant, and integrated with other enterprise systems.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Secret Clearance

     

    IAT II or higher

     

    4+ Years of experience in a windows system administration role

     

    2+ Years of experience spinning up and maintaining virtual machines

     

    Experience running ACAS scans and implementing STIGs
