    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, specifically within the automotive interior industry. Your strong communication skills, knowledge of quality control processes, and problem-solving abilities will be integral to our continued success

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Work directly at customer sites, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality-related issues.

    • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic automotive interior industry.

    • Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance processes, including maintaining PFMEA and control plans.

    • Prepare instructions to ensure all materials, product parts, and components meet industry standards.

    • Ensure that product specifications related to fit, finish, durability, and appearance are met.

    • Monitor the timeliness and accuracy of quality data input into the system and report on key product and process characteristics.

    • Provide timely coaching and feedback to the manufacturing team, including maintaining failure catalogs and site failure samples.

    • Address product problems directly with customers at their sites and relay feedback to the manufacturing team.

    • Oversee the execution of corrective actions, including daily quality quick response issue management.

    Skills and Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in a mechanical engineering-related field.

    • Must be authorized to work in the US.

    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Automotive Manufacturing.

    • Rich experience in automotive manufacturing processes including injection molding, assembly, coating, wrapping, painting, and quality control etc.

    • Comprehensive knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.

    • Extensive experience with 8D problem-solving, problem analysis, logical thinking, and strong communication skills.

    • Knowledge of the automotive interior industry is preferred.

    • Proficiency in office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Spanish or Chinese are preferred.

    • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality issues and precise solutions.

    • Strong problem-solving abilities, including root cause analysis and solution implementation.

    • A team player with a collaborative mindset. Bilingual in Spanish
