Job Description

As an AI Agent Integration Developer at a large retail company, you will design, build, and deploy intelligent AI agents that perform autonomous tasks such as reasoning, planning, decision-making, and interaction, leveraging large language models (LLMs) like Google Gemini, OpenAI ChatGPT, or Microsoft CoPilot. Collaborating closely with business users, application teams, and vendors, you will integrate these agents into enterprise systems, workflows, and SaaS applications via APIs, webhooks, or custom connectors, while defining processes, standards, and oversight for AI agent development. Your role includes leading infrastructure modernization and digital transformation projects, optimizing workflows for security and efficiency, creating networks of specialized agents for complex problem-solving, automating business processes, implementing secure authentication protocols, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing thought leadership on AI innovations. Additionally, you will research tools, stay updated on AI roadmaps, document integrations, and guide teams on automation needs, serving as a subject matter expert to shape the company's AI strategy and drive scalable deployments at the intersection of automated workflows and artificial intelligence. This will be fully remote role.

Salary Expectations: 170k-180k/Year

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

- 5+ years of software development and automation experience

- 3+ years in technical leadership or customer-facing roles

- 2+ years building and integrating Agentic AI solutions

Strong hands-on experience with AI agent platforms (Google Gemini/Agentspace, OpenAI/ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot)

- Proficiency in Python (required) and Java or JavaScript for AI agent development

- Experience connecting AI agents to enterprise systems via APIs, webhooks, or custom integrations

- Solid understanding of LLMs, NLP, and core AI/ML concepts

- Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Experience in implementing and managing AI agents post-deployment

- Experience in deploying AI tools and services enterprise-wide

- Experience in documenting workflows and integrations

- Experience in securing AI Agents properly

- Proven track record of AI agent development and solutions

- Excellent problem-solving skills utilizing internal and external resources

- Strong knowledge of how applications work and are deployed

- Strong knowledge of various AI tools and their benefits
