    Action Care Ambulance is seeking a highly reliable and detail‑oriented Dispatcher to support emergency and non‑emergency medical transport operations in their Centennial, CO communications center. The company has never used an agency before and is seeking the right cultural and operational fit for their small, close‑knit team of 50 field staff and paramedics. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, mission‑critical environment and enjoys coordinating life‑saving operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Check in with the dispatcher and review the daily schedule

    • Log into dispatch station and monitor incoming calls

    • Coordinate emergency and non‑emergency ambulance transports

    • Perform accurate and timely data entry for every call

    • Track ambulance locations and document on‑scene and transport details

    • Use RESCUE NET to enter, update, and manage dispatch information

    • Collaborate with teammates seated within speaking distance

    • Apply strategic thinking for non‑emergency transport scheduling

    • Maintain awareness of local geography, hospital locations, and routes

    • Follow correct emergency protocols to ensure rapid ambulance deployment

     

    Support a 3–4 week structured training program to learn platform, workflows, and procedures

    Skills and Requirements

    Must Have Experience

    • Experience with RESCUE NET (Emergency medical software)

    • Prior EMS, dispatching, or emergency communications experience

    • Familiarity with CAD systems

    • Knowledge of the Denver Metro area

     

    Previous healthcare, ambulance, or emergency services background
