    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    Stakeholder Collaboration:

    Partner with Application SMEs to identify personal data subject to deletion under CCPA.

     

    Liaise with Privacy and IRG teams to understand legal and regulatory requirements for data retention and deletion.

    Process Development & Documentation:

    Translate legal and policy requirements into actionable data deletion processes.

     

    Document detailed procedures for each application/system, including data types, deletion triggers, and retention exceptions.

     

    Maintain a repository of approved deletion processes and ensure version control.

    Training & Operationalization:

    Train the CCPA Operations team on documented deletion processes.

     

    Monitor adherence to processes and escalate issues as needed.

    Compliance & Reporting:

    Support audits and compliance reviews by providing documentation and evidence of process execution.

     

    Track and report on deletion activities and exceptions.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Strong understanding of CCPA and data privacy regulations.

     

    Experience working with cross-functional teams including IT, legal, and compliance.

     

    Familiarity with enterprise data systems and data lifecycle management.

     

    Excellent documentation and communication skills.

     

    Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical processes. Experience in data governance or privacy operations.

     

    Knowledge of data classification and retention policies.
