    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Strategic/Operational Planner III to support a high‑visibility customer at Fort Meade, MD. This senior‑level planner will provide comprehensive and responsive strategic planning support across a broad range of mission areas, enabling the Command Staff to effectively meet joint operational requirements within a dynamic and diverse Area of Responsibility.

     

    In this role, you will develop detailed, resource‑informed operational plans; identify and mitigate risks; and shape strategic employment of military power to meet both anticipated and emergent mission requirements. The ideal candidate will be deeply experienced in joint planning doctrine and able to integrate guidance into executable courses of action using established DoD planning frameworks.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Active TS/SCI with CI Poly (within last 6 years)

     

    Bachelor’s degree AND 9+ years of related experience

     

    5+ years of position‑specific, relevant experience in strategic or operational planning

     

    Demonstrated expertise with APEX and JOPP

     

    Strong understanding of joint doctrine, operational design, and multi‑domain operations

     

    Ability to lead, brief, and support senior-level stakeholders in complex planning environments
