Job Summary

BAE Systems is seeking a highly organized and missionfocused Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Coordinator to support program execution across multiple technical workstreams. This role partners closely with a Program Manager to ensure delivery excellence, maintain Agile rigor, and translate program objectives into actionable, welldefined work. The ideal candidate brings strong facilitation skills, a disciplined approach to process, and a commitment to enabling teams to deliver highquality capabilities that support customer and mission needs.

Backlog & Work Definition

+ Collaborate with the Program Manager, product owners, and engineering leads to decompose program requirements into clear, testable user stories

+ Facilitate backlog refinement sessions to ensure work is prioritized, properly scoped, and aligned with contractual and program objectives

+ Maintain backlog integrity, ensuring acceptance criteria, dependencies, and readiness standards are consistently met

+ Track story progress and ensure accurate, timely updates within approved work management tools

Team Facilitation & Daily Execution

+ Lead daily standups and Agile ceremonies, ensuring disciplined execution and alignment to sprint goals

+ Identify impediments and coordinate with crossfunctional partners to drive timely resolution

+ Promote transparency, accountability, and continuous communication across the team

+ Reinforce Agile best practices and support a culture of continuous improvement

Sprint Planning & Delivery Coordination

+ Prepare and facilitate sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and related Agile events

+ Support the Program Manager in translating programlevel milestones into achievable sprintlevel plans

+ Monitor team velocity, capacity, and performance metrics to guide realistic commitments

+ Track dependencies, risks, and crossteam impacts, escalating issues as appropriate

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

+ Maintain dashboards, burndown charts, and status reports to provide clear visibility to program leadership and stakeholders

+ Support release readiness activities, including documentation, testing coordination, and compliance with program processes

+ Ensure alignment with BAE Systems engineering, quality, and program management standards

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Bachelor's Degree

+ At least 6 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coordinator, or similar role

+ Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and practical delivery experience

+ Proven ability to facilitate crossfunctional teams and drive disciplined execution

+ Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and/or comparable Agile management tools

+ Excellent communication, organization, and problemsolving skills

+ Ability to work in a fastpaced, cross-functional, and highly technical environment

+ Experience supporting defense, aerospace, or highly regulated programs

+ Understanding of systems engineering or software development lifecycles

+ Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and influence without authority

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) preferred

+ Experience with Microsoft Azure Environments

+ Experience with creating reports in Microsoft Power BI

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
