Zantech is looking for a talented Senior Cyber Support Specialist to contribute to the success of our upcoming Program Management, Cyber Support, and Financial Management Services project for an Onsite role based out of the Washington DC Metro Area

The Senior Cyber Support Specialist will play a crucial role in providing:

+ Aviation mission systems cyber requirements coordination

+ Interface with PEO-C5I (Cyber/C4ISR Program Executive Office) on aviation cyber matters

+ Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation support for aviation platforms

+ Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) for aviation components and systems

+ Cybersecurity assessments for aviation platform acquisitions (HC-130J, HC-144, H-65, H-60, small UAS)

+ Authority to Operate (ATO) package development support

+ NIST 800-53/800-171/800-172 compliance for aviation systems

+ Cyber incident response planning for aviation assets

The Senior Cyber Support Specialist provides cyber security expertise supporting Coast Guard aviation acquisition programs under CG-931. Coordinates aviation mission systems cyber requirements with PEO-C5I, supports Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation, conducts cyber vulnerability assessments, and manages supply chain risk for aviation platforms. Works closely with Program Manager and technical teams to integrate cybersecurity requirements throughout the aviation acquisition lifecycle. Supports Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and ensures NIST compliance for all aviation systems and platforms.

Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

+ Coordinate aviation cyber requirements with PEO-C5I and aviation program offices

+ Support RMF documentation development (System Security Plans, Security Assessment Reports, POA&Ms)

+ Conduct cyber vulnerability assessments for aviation platform acquisitions

+ Support supply chain risk management (SCRM) analysis for aviation components

+ Assist with Authority to Operate (ATO) package preparation and submission

+ Ensure NIST 800-53/800-171/800-172 compliance for aviation systems

+ Support cyber incident response planning and procedures

+ Interface with Coast Guard Cyber Command on aviation-related cyber matters

+ Review and assess cybersecurity requirements in aviation acquisition documentation

+ Support cybersecurity aspects of Aviation Strategic Plan

+ Coordinate with contractors and OEMs on aviation platform cybersecurity

+ Track and report on cybersecurity risks in Monthly Program Risk (MPR) reports

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

+ Minimum 8 years cybersecurity experience in DoD/DHS aviation or defense environments

+ Minimum 5 years aviation mission systems or embedded systems cybersecurity experience

+ Skills Required:

+ Aviation platform cybersecurity (embedded systems, mission systems, avionics)

+ Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD/DHS systems

+ NIST 800-53, 800-171, and 800-172 security controls

+ Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM)

+ Authority to Operate (ATO) package development

+ Security assessment and authorization processes

+ Cyber vulnerability assessment methodologies

+ C4ISR/C5I systems knowledge

+ Technical writing for security documentation

+ Stakeholder coordination across cyber and acquisition communities

Required Education/Certifications:

+ Education Required: None specified

+ Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

+ Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or related field

Required Security Clearance:
