**Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Sheetmetal Technicians** for projects located in & around **Newport News, VA.** This is a first shift opportunity and **the pay rate is up to $40.97/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a Sheetmetal Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

+ Layoff piece parts for fabrication and assembly

+ Use small hand tools, electric drills, grinders, rivet guns, shop equipment, drill press, press, etc.

+ Assemble, piece parts in accordance with specifications in a quality manner

+ Rigging, material handling

+ Working from heights & in a fast paced environment

Requirements:

+ Ability to comprehend complex ventilation assembly drawings, blueprints, sketches, weld symbols, material types & reference lines

+ Ability to comprehend fractional and decimal dimensions as with the use of a ruler

+ Must be comfortable working from heights
