    Overview

     

    The Vice President, Paid Social will have responsibility for the growth, management, retention, and happiness of a portfolio of key accounts. The ideal candidate will have shown experience leading clients strategically and tactically in social marketing. They will be responsible for a team in the conception and delivery of innovative, business-building, social marketing solutions to include paid optimization, evolving platforms, and sophisticated analytics. The Vice President will also provide engagement leadership, develop senior level client relationships, and will serve as an authority and trusted advisor to assigned clients. Confirmed account management, leadership, and experience in an agency environment are important.

    Responsibilities

    Product

    • Overall control of workflow and assigned responsibilities within their group. They will coordinate the progress of all projects and offer assistance, as vital, to ensure the timely completion of projects.

    • Ensure projects are produced completely, correctly, and efficiently.

    • Set strategic principles for client social initiatives based on objectives

    • Develop action plans for achieving and tracking campaign success including defining important measures and processes for evaluation and improvement

    • Evaluate and recommend full spectrum of social alliances, including all appropriate partners, platforms, bid and campaign management tools

    • Work with planning teams, digital planning, and outside ad agencies to ensure paid social efforts complement all client marketing activity

    • Keep clients and agency counterparts informed on latest developments in the industry

    • Grow agency paid social business through new business wins and organic client growth

    • Involved in client and inter-agency education of paid social and will be responsible for developing intellectual capital, including standard processes, case studies, and official agency points-of-view

    • This individual is frequently involved in client and inter-agency education of social, and will be responsible for developing intellectual capital, including standard processes, case studies, and official agency points-of-view.

    • Stimulate team productivity and growth

    • Establish and develop a workplace culture that inspires talent

    • Allocate assignments to harness each person’s individual skills, as well as motivating their interests and challenging their minds

    • Encourage thorough evaluation of paid social marketing strategies, finding opportunity for competitive advantage

    • Develop careers by providing ongoing feedback and conducting employee evaluations

    • Recruiting and retain top talent, growing the social team to deliver on client and agency goals

    Clients

    • Provide effective long-term strategic guidance and counsel to include:

    • Master, identify, and communicate overall trends in social and those related to client industries

    • Define and evaluate client(s) competition online, as well as how it relates to their social initiatives

    • Establish appropriate account staffing, scope of services, and fee proposals

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of dynamic levels of digital media

    • Ideally, 5+ years of validated experience in focused social marketing fields

    • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills

    • Experience in applying social marketing to brand-building and direct response initiatives

    • Knowledge of syndicated research tools

    • Demonstrated business insight and a track record of success in the media/marketing services profession

    • Solid interpersonal and collaboration abilities

    • Ability to lead the new business development process and proven ability to win new clients

    • Ability to build, lead, and strengthen client relationships

    • Healthy senior relationships with key industry partners and social platforms

    Compensation Range: $146,490.00 - $230,460.00 anual. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
