As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity or potential security-related risks in patient care areas, public spaces, and restricted zones.

+ Communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors to address questions and/or report security-related issues as needed.

+ Document incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and client site protocols.

+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities during emergency and/or incident response situations as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as required by the client.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
