What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.

+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and vendors with access-related inquiries and directions.

+ Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the business interior and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related violations observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.

+ Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support the overall security program at the food and beverage location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Being at least 21 years of age is required.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
