As a **Security Guard - Petrochemical Patrol** in **Anacortes, WA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical and petrochemical location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access points and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents according to established protocols.

+ Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel to relay important information and maintain awareness of site conditions.

+ Complete required documentation and reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and observations while on patrol.

+ Remain alert to potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments and respond in accordance with site-specific training and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
