As a **Security Officer - Plant Entry Monitor** in **Sugar Grove, IL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a food and beverage environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. What You'll Do:

+ Control access to the location by verifying credentials of visitors, employees, and vendors according to site-specific policies.

+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Provide customer service to clients and guests by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.

+ Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents or emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

+ Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site representatives to help to deter potential security-related risks within the food and beverage environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
