Project Manager – Modernization, Upgrades & Repair Projects
**Location:** _Houston, Texas (Onsite)_
**Job Type:** Full-Time
Overview
We are seeking an experienced **Project Manager** to oversee multiple modernization, upgrade, inspection, and repair projects within a dynamic industrial/manufacturing environment. In this role, every day will be different—depending on where each project is in the lifecycle. This position requires exceptional communication, strong technical understanding, and the ability to coordinate across engineering, supply chain, suppliers, and customers.
This is a highly visible role supporting end-to-end project execution including engineering progress, scheduling, procurement, budget oversight, client communication, and delivery coordination.
Key Responsibilities
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ Manage all aspects of multiple Modernization & Upgrade and Inspection/Repair projects through execution and warranty phases.
+ Work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing facilities, third-party suppliers, and customers to ensure project success.
+ Provide regular updates and reporting to Senior Management on project status, risks, and milestones.
+ Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies to maintain schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
+ Manage project financials including revenue targets, budgets, and EBIT performance.
+ Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to risk management, on-time delivery, cost optimization, quality, and customer satisfaction.
+ Coordinate and attend project review meetings and ensure all schedule changes or customer concerns are communicated proactively.
+ Occasional domestic and international travel for customer meetings, internal reviews, or onsite project support.
What You Bring
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or equivalent hands-on experience. PMI or Siemens PM certification is a plus.
+ Minimum **5+ years** of recent experience in Project Management or Project Lead roles.
+ Self-driven, highly motivated professional with a strong work ethic.
+ Customer-focused mindset with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly in fast-paced environments.
+ Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—paired with effective problem-solving abilities.
+ Detail-oriented with strong proficiency in **SAP** , **Microsoft Office** , and **Microsoft Project** .
+ Extensive knowledge of **steam turbine design** , subcomponents, assembly, and repair methods.
+ Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, BOM structures, and engineering drawings.
+ Experience with other rotating turbomachinery, Marketing & Sales, or Field Service is a plus.
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer-sponsored visa support.
