Description
Robert Half is working with a growing healthcare organization to hire a skilled Financial Analyst to join their team in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will use your analytical expertise to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights that drive operational and strategic decisions. Your contributions will play a key role in optimizing provider performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting business growth in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly financial reports for multiple service lines, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Create effective presentations and dashboards for leadership using PowerPoint.
• Evaluate financial metrics and key performance indicators, including revenue trends, patient volumes, and provider productivity.
• Identify and analyze variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement across service lines.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to manage and analyze complex datasets.
• Extract, clean, and reconcile data from various internal systems and databases.
• Develop and maintain forecasting models to support budgeting and operational planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and clinical leadership, to address strategic business questions.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to uncover insights and support decision-making.
• Investigate data inconsistencies and proactively present findings to leadership.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial or data analysis, demonstrating attention to detail.
• Must have Advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills needed, with the ability to simplify complex financial data.
• Familiarity with forecasting models and productivity analytics.
• Experience creating executive-level presentations using PowerPoint.
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
