    Accounts Payable Specialist Full Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP)

     

    Robert Half’s Full Time Engagement Professionals practice is hiring an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our project based consulting team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong attention to detail and hands-on experience supporting full cycle accounts payable operations. As an FTEP consultant, you will work with multiple clients over time, applying your AP expertise across different systems, industries, and environments, including insurance.

    Responsibilities

    • Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and compliance with company policies

    • Manage accounts payable workflows including ACH transactions and check runs

    • Verify and reconcile account coding to maintain accuracy in financial records

    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and payment related inquiries

    • Maintain organized records of all AP transactions for audit and reporting purposes

    • Assist in implementing and maintaining payment systems to optimize efficiency

    • Ensure timely payments to vendors while adhering to contractual agreements

    • Support month end and year end closing activities by preparing AP documentation and reconciliations

    • Monitor and analyze AP metrics to identify opportunities for improvement

    Requirements

    Ideal Background

    • Full cycle AP experience including invoice processing, coding, and vendor management

    • Experience with ACH and check runs

    • ERP exposure (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, etc)

    • Month end close support including reconciliations and reporting

    • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

    • Insurance industry experience is a plus, not required

     

    FTEP Consultant Model
