Summary Position requires real time mission support of the 59th Test and Evaluation Squadron (TES) at Nellis AFB. Support team will be responsible for test instrumentation management and data validation for testing activities including daily instrumentation operations, instrumentation engineering, and data transfer actions to supply aircraft data to its operational analysts and other Operational Test stakeholders. Essential duties and Responsibilities • Supports Program Manager with management of the overall schedule to ensure work is assigned and completed on time and within budget for all projects in the program. • Support the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program typically consisting of a set of closely related projects or associated activities. • Responsible for coordination of multiple Site Leads across multiple tasks and locations. • Supports all aspects of program startup and ongoing execution, to include the identification, tracking, managing, and resolving of program issues. • Proactively disseminate program information to all stakeholders, as required by Program Manager. • Supports identification, management and mitigation of program risk. • Collects metrics to give a sense for how the program is progressing and whether the deliverables produced are acceptable. • Produces metrics for Program Manager review, to report on Site specific status’ of costs, schedules and performance. • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively complete tasks while interfacing at all levels. • Attend mandatory government and corporate meetings as required. • Uses established policies and procedures and subject matter knowledge to complete complex assignments requiring originality and ingenuity performed under minimum supervision with considerable latitude for independent contribution. • Exercises discretion and independent judgement in representing and/or resolving matters of significance on behalf of the customer. • Physical requirements include sitting and standing for long periods of time and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. • Travel requirements may include occasional travel to support mission requirements. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years’ experience • Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license. • Must have an active Secret Security Clearance. • Must pass all pre-employment screenings including a drug screening and annual vision and hearing screenings. • Must adhere to safe work practices and standards while performing daily tasks, taking responsibility for own and coworkers’ safekeeping and encouraging others to work safely. • Must be able to work under supervision and respond appropriately and professionally to feedback from Supervisors and Lead Technician(s). • With the exception of STD/LTD/FMLA and approved time off, attendance is considered essential. Flexibility in work hours is necessary to support scheduled missions and events is mandatory; shift work is necessary. Possible shifts include days, nights, weekends and holiday support.
