Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and clearing packaging line equipment and ancillary support equipment to meet efficiency expectations. You will replenish packaging materials such as wrapping paper, plastic sheets, boxes, and cartons, and ensure labeling systems, including ink, glue, and paper, are stocked. Your role will include inspecting in-process packaging for consistent quality, removing defective products and packaging materials, and segregating finished packaged items. You will also conduct inventory counts on finished and rejected items and monitor packaging and filling operations to ensure quality and conformity to standards.

Responsibilities

+ Setup, operate, and clear packaging line equipment and ancillary support equipment.

+ Replenish packaging materials like wrapping paper, plastic sheets, boxes, and cartons.

+ Inspect in-process packaging for consistent quality and remove defective products.

+ Segregate finished packaged items and separate rejected items.

+ Conduct inventory counts on finished and rejected packaged items.

+ Monitor packaging and filling operations to ensure quality and conformity.

+ Monitor the production line to prevent bottlenecks, jams, and labeling errors.

+ Emphasize meeting production standards and maintaining a safe environment.

+ Know and follow GMP practices, safe work habits, and hygiene standards.

+ Perform light-duty maintenance work and general housekeeping.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with packaging machinery and equipment operation.

+ Knowledge of production and packaging line operations.

+ Attention to detail and ability to document requirements.

+ Familiarity with GMP practices and safe work habits.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Diploma or GED required.

+ Pharmaceutical experience is a plus.

+ Familiarity with USDA, FDA, and CGMP standards.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom environment, wearing a full Tyvek suit. The facility is smaller, very clean, and organized. Experience a climate-controlled environment with 1st shifts available. Bond Facility hours are 6:00am-2:30pm, and Lakeview Facility hours are 5:00am-1:30pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Overland Park, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
