    Job Title: Manual Machinist- up to $34/hr

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist for our 1st shift operations, Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 2 PM in Bolivar, OH. The role involves operating and setting up Bridgeport and manual lathe machines to fabricate both metallic and non-metallic parts. The machinist will calculate and set controls to regulate machining parameters such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and set up Bridgeport and manual lathe machines to fabricate parts.

    + Calculate and set controls for machining speed, feed, coolant flow, and cut parameters.

    + Create jigs, fixtures, or machine attachments as required.

    + Read and interpret blueprints to set up and machine parts accurately.

    + Detect and adjust for malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining using machine controls.

    + Maintain tolerances using precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers.

    Essential Skills

    + 4+ years of experience as a Manual Machinist.

    + Proficiency with Bridgeport and surface grinders.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Experience with manual lathe machining and machine setups.

    + Familiarity with tool changes and machining adjustments.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with horizontal and vertical mills and lathes.

    + Knowledge of conversational, FANUC, and G&M codes.

    + Proficiency in ID grinding and surface grinding techniques.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bolivar, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
