General Foreman / Assistant Superintendent (Commercial Construction)

**Location:** Denver metro area, Colorado Springs, Northern Colorado

**Type:** Full‑Time

We are hiring a hands‑on General Foreman / Junior Assistant Superintendent to independently run small commercial new construction projects (schools & multifamily). You will be wearing tools and leading from the field.

Responsibilities

+ Run daily site operations on commercial new build projects

+ Structural & foundation concrete work

+ Manage 5–10 carpenters and subcontractors

+ Assist with layout, scheduling, and coordination

+ Read blueprints; use Bluebeam

+ Lead toolbox talks and enforce jobsite safety

+ Operate equipment as needed (forklift, skid steer, scissor & boom lifts)

+ Open and close projects; report to the Superintendent

+ Expect 50–60 hour work weeks

Qualifications

+ Experience running small commercial projects independently

+ Strong commercial structural/foundation concrete experience

+ Experience working under large commercial General Contractors

+ Union or non‑union experience welcome

+ Strong leadership and communication skills

+ Bluebeam & blueprint reading experience required

Preferred (Not Required)

+ CITC or union apprenticeship

+ OSHA 10 or OSHA 30

+ Equipment certifications

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
