    Description

    o Use CAD system to design 3D detailed components o Create multi-level 3D assemblies o Create detailed component and assemble 2D print drawings o Perform first article inspection/evaluation of newly sourced product(s) o Perform physical functional testing of product(s) in test & assembly areas o Research or test material strengths, behaviors, physical properties, etc. o Use CAD system to perform changes and/or updates to product specifications sheets o Distribute product specifications to various departments within organization o Enter and maintain master BOM/Assembly drawings for all company products o Verify that BOMs in MRP system are identical to master drawings o Verify that part numbering is consistent throughout all BOMs o Assist in creating Installation Instructions o Update existing Installation Instruction to incorporate engineering changes

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering • Minimum 2-5+ years’ working experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD software. • Experience working with AutoCAD is a plus. • Experience working with multi-level BOMs is a plus. • Experience working with MRP/ERP systems is a plus. • Knowledge of various metal manufacturing processes is a plus.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
