Mechanical Design Engineer –15+ Years Experience
Join a team where your engineering expertise directly shapes innovative products used across critical industries. This role is ideal for a seasoned Mechanical Designer who enjoys owning projects end‑to‑end—from concept development to production‑ready documentation.
What You’ll Do
+ Design complex parts and assemblies across multiple product lines, including valves, hydraulic assemblies, and actuators.
+ Produce high‑quality manufacturing drawings, define appropriate manufacturing processes, and apply precise tolerancing.
+ Create detailed schematics and assembly drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
+ Develop engineering solutions and proposal documentation for RFQs and RFIs.
+ Partner closely with analysis teams on components requiring FEA or CFD to ensure robust, reliable designs.

What You Bring
+ 10–15+ years of hands‑on Mechanical Design experience.
+ Strong experience in industrial and machine design.
+ Proven leadership in product development and application of engineering processes.
+ Deep understanding of manufacturing methods: casting, machining, grinding, lapping, additive manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, and more.
+ Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks CAD modeling.
+ Strong command of GD&T and drawing standards.
+ Experience with engineering methodologies such as DFMA, DMAIC, FMEA, and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
+ AutoCAD experience for layouts and schematics (a plus).
+ Familiarity with nuclear industry standards (ASME, ANSI, API, IEEE) is highly desirable.
+ Knowledge of industrial hydraulics and electrical equipment is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
