    Job Summary

    The Supervisor of Production is responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of production departments. This role ensures KPS Global meets safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping goals.

    Major Responsibilities

    + Coordinating production activities, people, processes, and materials to complete production schedules according to process specifications

    + Identifying problems and initiating corrective action

    + Directing multi-functions

    + Administering company policies and procedures

    + Ensuring employee safety via SMS processes and procedures

    + Determining man power requirements to meet schedules

    + Facilitating internal continuous improvement processes

    + Participating in formulating manufacturing policies and procedures

    Required Skills

    + Bi-lingual English and Spanish speaker preferred

    + Analytical thinker with strong interpersonal skills both verbal and written

    + Ability to direct associates using facilitation and demonstration techniques

    + Mechanical aptitude to interface with people and processes

    + Able to manage multiple short-term tasks at the same time

    + Direct Reports 15 – 30

    + Must be able to work in a normal factory environment that is subject to ambient temperature conditions

    + Must be able to walk or stand for prolonged periods of time

    + Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

    + Must be able to work flexible hours

    Required Experience

    + High School Diploma

    + 5 – 8 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with 5 years in a supervisory role

    + Six Sigma Lean Certification preferred

    + Understanding of ISO

    + Understanding of Lean Principles and 5S
