JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President to join the Advanced Treasury Analytics (ATA) team in Chicago. ATA is part of Corporate and Investment Bank Treasury and delivers innovative analytics and quantitative solutions to support Corporate and Investment Bank Treasury management in making informed, strategic decisions. By leveraging advanced technology and quantitative expertise, ATA plays a key role in optimizing the Corporate and Investment Bank's liquidity, risk, and capital management.
As a Vice President supporting the Advanced Analytics team, you will drive impact by contributing to the development of advanced analytics that modernize treasury management, working with large data sets and state-of-the-art tools. You will have opportunities for professional growth, expanding your expertise in quantitative analysis, financial markets, and treasury functions, with clear paths for career advancement. In this collaborative environment, you will work closely with a high-performing team, technology partners, and business leaders across Markets, Banking, Payments, and Securities Services. You will gain global exposure by engaging with teams in Chicago, New York, and other international locations, supporting initiatives with broad organizational impact. Additionally, you will continuously develop your skills in financial modeling, regulatory compliance, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Support the Executive Director in leading the ATA Chicago team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
+ Maintain and enhance ATA's analytical tools and processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.
+ Analyze market trends and regulatory changes, providing insights and recommendations to adapt strategies and ensure compliance.
+ Prepare and present clear updates, reports, and actionable insights to senior management and stakeholders.
+ Mentor junior team members, supporting their professional development and growth.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
+ 6+ years' experience, with a strong quantitative background and experience in technical teams within a banking or financial services environment.
+ Solid product knowledge across corporate treasury, or wholesale banking products, with an interest in expanding expertise across new business lines.
+ Experience in treasury analytics or similar roles.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in banking product and financial data.
+ Effective communicator and collaborator, able to work across diverse teams and stakeholders.
+ Committed to mentoring and developing junior talent.
+ Knowledgeable about regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
+ Proficient in Python programming and familiar with cloud-based platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
+ Experience supporting similar functions within a global banking environment.
+ Familiarity with financial modeling and optimization tools.
+ Advanced degree such as an MSc in Mathematical Finance, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
