We are looking for a Slot Shift Supervisor to join our team. This person will report to the Assistant Slot Shift Manager

Essential Functions

+ Responsible for the support and direction of the Slot Operations Department and Players Club, including supervising the day-to-day operations of the Guest Service Representatives.

+ Assist the Slot Tech Manager and Slot Tech Shift Supervisors with communication and installation, maintenance repair of slot machines and related equipment.

+ Ensures the highest level of guest service is being performed.

+ Provide direct supervision, guidance, and support to Guest Service Representatives and other shift personnel.

+ Handle large sums of money.

+ Monitor machine performance and identify issues requiring immediate attention from technicians or management.

+ Lead or assist in shift briefings to inform team members of priorities, machine updates, promotions, and service expectations.

+ Responsible for daily operations, including hiring, training, and team management.

+ Ensure operational objectives are met by setting, supporting, and monitoring performance, while driving the achievement of revenue and profitability goals.

+ Adheres to scheduling and coordination with the Assistant Slot Shift Manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.

+ Make recommendations to improve the Slot Department; supports compliance with departmental budget initiatives; reports concerns to the Assistant Slot Shift Manager.

+ Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior guest service in accordance with department and Happy Valley Casino standards and programs.

+ Ensure guest service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.

+ Work with various slot system software.

+ Provides authorizing/verifying signature for jackpot payments, when applicable, in accordance with established procedures.

+ Assist with jackpot and hand pay payouts and handle confidential credentials.

+ Works closely with the Assistant Slot Shift Manager to implement and oversee overall strategies for guest service, comping, slot floor layout and mix, revenue growth, and expense management in order to maximize profitability.

+ Shares responsibility of the overall engagement of all team members with the Assistant Slot Shift Manager by addressing and managing team member feedback, suggestions, complaints, and grievances.

+ Assists in the maintenance and processing of all paperwork, logs, schedules, and communication pertaining to the Slots department.

+ Shares responsibility for the overall integrity of daily operations on assigned shift.

+ Assists with the overall integrity of daily Slot Operations.

+ Ensure satisfactory resolution of guest issues.

+ Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

+ Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Job Requirements

+ Highschool Diploma or equivalent

+ Minimum (1) year in public area cleaning.

+ Supervisory experience preferred.

+ Valid PA Drivers License

+ Must be able to be approved and maintain licensure by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board gaming.

+ Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.

+ Able to perform repetitive motion tasks.

+ Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
