Job Purpose and Impact

The Production Supervisor will provide strategic operational oversight for designated production areas in the Dayton facility, overseeing a moderate degree of complexity. In this role, you will oversee and hold a designated area accountable to standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness, and financial performance.

Key Accountabilities

+ Execute routine operations of designated areas, ensuring direct reports are following policies and procedures related to employee, food safety, and environmental compliance

+ Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications

+ Partner with peer production supervisors to meet customer specifications and timelines

+ Administer a department production budget by executing purchase orders and ensuring timely payment of invoices

+ Develop operational plans and monitor routine operations across designated departments, processes, and shifts

+ Develop, supervise, and provide coaching to direct reports including coaching company core values and guiding principles

+ Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions for your direct reports as necessary

+ Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

+ Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

+ Minimum of one year of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

+ One year of supervisory experience

+ Experience working in a food and/or poultry processing environment

+ Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/any other language

+ Experience utilizing SAP and/or IPFS systems

+ Experience applying lean manufacturing principles and pursuing continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment
